Our Story
Bumble & Bloom Flower Farm is a small cut flower farm where I grow seasonal flowers from seed to harvest.
I focus on flowers that support pollinators, reflect on the natural rhythm of the seasons, and feel special when you bring them home. Everything I grow is rooted in a love of nature, children, and the small moments of wonder you only notice when you slow down.
Meet the Farmer-Florist
Hi, I’m Lara — the farmer and florist behind Bumble & Bloom Flower Farm.
By day, I’m a pediatric intensivist, caring for some of the sickest children and walking alongside families through their hardest moments. By early mornings, late evenings, and muddy weekends, I’m in the field — growing flowers from seed, watching the seasons unfold, and chasing the kind of wonder we are so often told we outgrow.
Bumble & Bloom was born from a deep love of nature, children, and the quiet magic that happens when you slow down enough to notice the world around you. Some of my favorite moments happen here on the farm with my two young boys — my official bug spotters and very enthusiastic little helpers. Together, we watch caterpillars turn into butterflies, discover toads in the rows, name plants, and learn that tiny things can be extraordinary.
Every flower grown here is rooted in the belief that wonder is worth protecting and with deep respect for the living systems that support us.
